James Bashford is a performance focussed digital marketing and ecommerce leader with over 18 years of experience in driving growth across b2b, b2b2c and d2c models. He currently serves as Head of D2C & eCommerce acceleration for Groupe SEB (Tefal) in the UK where he has led the rapid expansion and scale up of the D2C business over the last 4 years. James has spent the previous 6 years at Tefal transforming the digital marketing and communications capabilities, providing the perfect foundation for the pivot into the direct-to-consumer eCommerce strategy of today.  Combined with 7 years in digital marketing at 3M prior to Tefal, James has built extensive knowledge and experience in shaping and scaling operational and strategic plans across the full mix of digital performance levers including paid media, CRM, SEO and web analytics. He prides himself on building and empowering high performing teams, that can cut through the noise of large organisations and deliver measurable, sustainable commercial growth at pace.
