Phil Hughes

Phil Hughes is the Founder of the Digital Creator Association (the UK’s first creator trade body) and a Partner at law firm Lewis Silkin where he is a member of the Digital, Commerce and Creative team specialising in the development, creation and exploitation of IP in the creator and entertainment economies.

Phil was also COO and CCO at Gleam Futures, which was Europe’s first and most successful digital talent management business, where he was fundamental to its growth and eventual sale to Denstu Inc.  Gleam Futures worked with some of the biggest digital creators on the planet – building and monetising talent owned intellectual property.  Whether it was building multi-million pound brands with creators, creating a market leading literary division or a stand-alone influencer marketing agency, Phil was involved from inception to delivery. 

Phil also spent over 7 years in agency land, as a Comms Director at MGOMD.
